In questo talk show, si parla delle ultime notizie, riguardanti le celebrità. In questo video, il conduttore, Andy Cohen, parla con la famosa modella canadese Winnie Harlow e le fa una domanda, che recita: “ il reality show Americas Next Top Model ti ha aiutato per la tua carriera?” e la risposta è “no”. In un primo momento aveva pensato che, ANTM potesse essere di grande aiuto per cominciare a lavorare nel settore della moda, ma dopo la fine del reality show nulla è cambiato, anche se era uno delle finaliste.

Winnie Harlow, vero nome Chantelle Brown-Young, viene dal Canada. Let’s be real here, without ANTM, she wouldn’t be as big. When I saw her in magazines and celebrity articles, I always kept thinking, wasnt she in ANTM?? Gurl please. without it, youd be nowhere..
She’s not wrong though, 99% of the show’s contestants fade into nothing no offence to them or their talents. Several said they weren’t taken seriously for participating in a reality tv show. Yaya DaCosta and Analeigh Tipton had to move away from modelling to find their fame lol

There was no need to say that and it obviously did give her exposure. Why be dismissive and nasty for no reason? Don’t burn bridges
ANTM is pure reality show where producers including Tyra put different personalities to create a show.
Sadly winnie was presented as bitchy.
At first, I gave her a pass on ANTM because I thought that she had potential to be a great model. But it’s obvious that she hasn’t learned anything since being on the show. Graciousness goes a long way. Even if ANTM did nothing for her career, she shouldn’t have said anything.

Several ANTM contestants have backed her statement on IG so if you didn’t walk in their shoes, then you’re not really the one to talk. ANTM is seen as a joke in the modelling industry because the contestants are NOT seen as models but reality TV stars. People like to come for her because she changed her name from Chantelle to Winnie even though plenty of contestants have done the exact same thing (she even had Chantelle Winnie on her IG when the show aired). Also if you watch ANTM it’s literally a cringe fest.. the challenges, the makeovers, the shoots, the Tyra-isms.. everything. The show is full of past controversy which doesn’t really help the case either. No credibility whatsoever, just a show made for drama, entertainment and ratings.
First of all everyone knowns that any show on tv is a “reality tv show” ANTM Project Runway…etc so to say she didn’t know what she signed for? The applications on those shows ask you ridiculous questions that if you don’t know what you’re “signing” for you’re quite ignorant and not very smart. As for not acknowledging this platform put her on the map…well that’s just quite rude. And she’s not particularly beautiful…and her uniqueness/edginess is her skin condition. Model? Everyone is now being called a model…so ✌?
She mentioned that she was grateful to be on it, so she’s not cocky. Però, she’s not the first former ANTM contestant to state that the show really does not offer them what it implies it will. A lot of these winners never received the contracts or affiliations that they were promised.
You only get the attention because of your skin condition not you being a great model. That’s a fact.

So if ANTM is the only thing Winnie booked do you think Andy would be talking to her? I think not. Everyone wants to find something wrong with a model, but what Winnie said is not wrong and her confidence is not wrong. Most people are bothered by her confidence because she is good at it and she knows her reasons for being confident. Im gone just take a minute to be petty and say that Winnie has a better body and features than most people…deal with it.
